the goddaughter of rosa parks Aisha dean

About Aisha Dean

Civil rights activist and motivational speaker Aisha Dean was driven to succeed early on. She is the goddaughter of the late great Rosa Parks, mother of the civil rights movement, and the daughter of a successful hotel executive and entrepreneur.

Throughout her life, Ms. Dean has had the privilege of being exposed to a rich and nurturing environment which has instilled in her the dedication and appreciation for hard work. She spent most of her childhood living throughout the United States, including major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia. These experiences were the seeds she needed to begin her path to becoming a savvy businesswoman and leader.

After attending Temple and Florida A&M Universities, Aisha graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. After graduation, she modeled and appeared in several black-hair magazines for about three years. Aisha’s business and entrepreneurial passion were growing, so she decided to follow that passion. Following in her father’s footsteps, Aisha embarked on a career in the hotel and hospitality industry. Aisha has held titles such as Guest Service Manager, Catering Service Manager, and Site Representative for several prestigious hotels in New York City and Orlando, Florida. These experiences have certainly contributed to her strong work ethic and have helped in shaping her vision for her future.

Keeping with the tradition of her godmother, Rosa Parks, Aisha has also embarked on a personal journey to educate men, women, and children about civil rights, healthy eating, and self-empowerment. Her motivational speaking awards her the ability to travel the country educating women about women empowerment, faith in God, and being strong, healthy, and prosperous. In addition, Aisha has a brilliant sense of interacting with people and assessing their needs, enabling her to be a valuable leader and team player in any industry she touches.

Currently, Aisha and her team are in pre-production for her new, upcoming podcast, The Dean’s List, set for launch in 2023.

Maintaining mental and physical health, family, planning, and achieving your goals are lessons she implements daily in her life. Lessons learned from such prominent figures such as her father and godmother are what have shaped Aisha to be the beautiful, hardworking, unstoppable force she is today.
